Fabric History/Provenance: Pieces derived from deadstock 1990's kimono silk roll.
Fabric Description: This is medium weight silk for use in making a formal kimono, Thick, with no translucence; the fabric is a dark orange background with interwoven and some brocade fans with leaves and flowers, also, decorative cords, done in several shades of brown and tan; also silver-white, with gradation pinks; metallic sheen in the designs, noting lateral (weft) brocade light copper lines; heavier silk does not wrinkle aseasily but has little drape;
